273 - Creating a Meaningful Life with Carrie Hart

Season 3, Ep. 273

Listening to today's podcast episode will surely pique your interest. We have the opportunity to speak with Carrie Hart, spiritual explorer, author, speaker, and singer/songwriter. She is a woman of many talents, for sure!

During our conversation, Carrie shares with us a little about her start in the corporate world and how that transitioned into her spiritual journey over the past 25 years, as a shaman working with power animals and as a powerful meditation teacher.

When her deeply-loved husband of 46 years died suddenly, Carrie found that she needed to pause her work in healing others to focus on healing herself. She needed to create a new life, one with love and joy at its center, even though she was now on her own. That's exactly what she did. Her new book, Sojourner in Ataquay, explains the answers that came to her and the tools and techniques that helped her rebound and create her best, most beautiful life, after overcoming loss.

She leaves us with a term she has coined to explain challenging tasks ahead. She says, "I call it, scary-good... where I know I should do something, but it's really scary. I can feel it's a good thing, but it is scary. Almost everything you do, that is new, is scary at first. Open up the door and move forward."
