155 - You Are Perfect with Author Judi Miller

Season 2, Ep. 155

On today's podcast, we’re joined by Judi Miller.

Have you ever experienced the feeling that an intelligence greater than yourself is guiding you forward to your destiny or fate? Do you ever wonder at the synchronicities that fall into place like the pieces of a puzzle?

I have, and I do.

And, that’s exactly what happened to our guest, Judi Miller one Good Friday, sitting in church, with her family, with the choir singing.

An otherwise-normal Good Friday service one moment, that is until she was overcome by her experience of the powerful, divine, joyful experience of connection. A connection that transcended this world.

But that’s not where her story begins.

And not where it ends, either.

Judi was a successful CPA and corporate finance executive, who unknown to her co-workers, lived in terror of the night, and the possibility of sexual assault. Although happily married with children, her fears made life a modern-day nightmare, but worse - she had no idea why?

There was nothing in her own personal background that would warrant her near-constant state of fear.

And then the Good Friday experience … orchestrated by unseen hands.

In this episode, you'll hear how Judi’s journey...:

  •     erased her inexplicable fears of the dark that paralyzed her nightly
  •     guided her to her purpose in life
  •     healed three generations of people and souls
  •     taught her new insights about love and forgiveness
  •     inspired her to write her book

We'll talk about what she learned as she:

  •     went from the corporate finance world to dedicating her life to personal development and helping others
  •     recognized life as one huge interconnected puzzle with NO WRONG PUZZLE PIECES
  •     began to see and let go of her stories, labels, and judgments
  •     started to live a more passionate life filled with greater clarity, joy, and happiness…
  •     including writing her new book, Perfect: A Path to Love, Forgiveness & Transformation

218 - Healing Through Neuroscience with Sarah Peyton

Season 2, Ep. 218
We have the privilege of speaking with another amazing guest on the No Labels, No Limits podcast. Sarah Peyton is an author, international speaker, and neuroscience educator dedicated to helping transform our brains into kinder, cozier places to live. She believes in the power of resonance to change the world. Our conversation weaves around how she helps people see that our brains make sense and that those things we’ve thought of as emotional difficulties or character defects are actually very normal reactions to relational, cultural, and intergenerational trauma. Further on that topic, Sarah says, "When our brains are mean to us, it's not truth, it's trauma."I ask Sarah to share a bit about how we can erode our own self-confidence. We may often think we are broken, that we have character flaws, when in actuality we make perfect sense, given the challenging experiences of aloneness, isolation, relational trauma, and more that characterize most modern, capitalist colonial cultures.Sarah says, "One of the things I’m often asked is 'how does learning about neuroscience help us heal?' Once we start learning about neuroscience we find out how emotional trauma creates self-blame and isolation and gets in the way of gentleness with the self." Listen in as we uncover concepts behind healing through neuroscience.Learn more and connect with Sarah here:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/empathybrain/Twitter: https://twitter.com/resonantselfYoutube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPJ_wotaL-ZoZefuLdgEGkQInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/sarahpeytonauthor/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sarah-peyton-5979903www.sarahpeyton.com

216 - Building a Brand with Style and Soul with Chelsey Korman

Season 2, Ep. 216
Welcome to another interesting episode on the No Labels, No Limits podcast where we get a chance to speak with Chelsey (Coco) Korman. Chelsey is the artist behind rucoco, where she elevates conscious product brands by uncovering their why and developing their creative identity around it.Rucoco's approach pairs a rock ‘n roll sensibility with the natural world to bring energy and spirit to the often subdued nature of sustainability. Her style is the merge between a ram dass-like virtue / earthy minimalism and a mick jagger-type soul / sensuality and edge. Rucoco's process is a deep one that unearths brand identities drenched in texture, authenticity and story, and creates worlds in which a brand’s audience can be part of something real and worthy. She is also a writer, stylist and designer of her own conscious clothing line, Bomē. Chelsey (or, Coco) is creating in the world between nature and the material, to bring light to both. Listen in to today's episode where Chelsey shares the two competing loves of her life - nature and material - and how she has found what she's here to create. Her parting words of wisdom are simple, but thought-provoking, "We don't need more things. We need things that mean more to us."Learn more and connect with Chelsey here:bomeforwomen.comInstagram: @bomeforwomenchelseykorman.comInstagram: @chelseykormanSpotify - @chelseykormanPinterest - @chelseykorman
